I enjoy the art of origami. Relaxing and portable, I am amazed what can be created with a small thin piece of paper. I have hunted about for a loon model and tried folding a few I found on the net, but finally decided to create my own.
This loon is based on heron and crane models combined with a few twists to more closely mimic the loon’s heavier body. Pictured below are each step I complete to build this new model. I will try to write up directions. Good luck and enjoy!
